Actor Dalljiet Kaur has now filed an FIR against her estranged husband Nikhil Patel accusing him of ‘cruelty’ and ‘cheating’. According to a report in TOI, Dalljiet registered a complaint against Nikhil at Mumbai’s Agripada police station, under sections 85 and 316 (2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. This FIR comes right after when Nikhil was spotted with his girlfriend Safeena in India. After filing a complaint against Nikhil Patel, Kaur took to her Instagram stories and released an official statement to thank the Mumbai police.
Saying that she was nervous to visit the police station, Kaur thanked the officers for helping her and hence, she wrote a gratitude note. The Bigg Boss 13 contestant wrote, “Thank you Joint Commissioner of Police Anil Paraskar, DCP Krishnatkant Upadhyay, Senior Inspector Yogendra Pache & Investigating Officer Sachin Shelke along with a lady constable, for your prompt response and efficiency. I was very nervous entering a police station but your kindness and sensitive approach towards my plight was truly very touching. I couldn’t help but to pen down my emotions today. Thank you Agripada Police Station for letting a woman know that she is safe in this country.”

Dalljiet Kaur’s statement
Recently, in her deleted birthday post for her husband Nikhil, she mentioned that she would send him a notice. She wrote at the end of her note, “So another notice on the way for this SN too?? I am sure your PR, Pa**l, is all set”. It looks like she was hinting at the FIR then.
