Debina Bonnerjee looks resplendent in red outfit at her baby shower, says, ‘Wanted to keep it private’

Television actress Debina Bonnerjee is currently on cloud nine as she is expecting her first child with husband Gurmeet Choudhary. There was a baby shower ceremony held for the mom-to-be and Debina shared pictures from her godh bharai. The actress was in a red anarkali suit, wore heavy jewellery and sindoor on her maang and a red bindi. Her pregnancy glow was visible in all the pics as she looked resplendent in them.

Sharing a picture of her from the ceremony, Debina wrote, “‘Saadh’ or desire in English. Desire for food of a pregnant woman is celebrated by the maternal side (here my mother) by cooking all food the woman loves .. ‘Baby shower’ in western country and ‘godh bharayi’ in north India saadh in Bengali. I didn’t particularly crave for anything during the whole journey .. so all things my mother could think of she cooked. Wanted to keep it private and entirely upto myself as I already feel a company. Sharing a few more pictures of herself, Debina wrote, “Sharing the look I thought of creating. Wanted to look more bangali though but ended up looking Bihari or may be more North Indian.” She further added, “Thanku everyone for keeping me in your blessings. P.s. Debina is in her third trimester and she recently shared that she has experienced swollen feet and many toilet runs but she is still grateful for this blessing.

Debina and Gurmeet got married in 2011.
