Debina Bonnerjee has the most SAVAGE reply to trolls calling her ‘chhoti haathi’

Debina Bonnerjee is a doting mother to her two adorable daughters, Lianna and Divisha. While Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina welcomed their first child, daughter Lianna in April 2022, their second daughter Divisha was born in November. Post giving birth to her second daughter, Debina has been actively giving a glimpse into her daily life.

In her latest vlog, Debina got candid as she opened up about getting trolled for her weight post giving birth to Divisha. The actress gave a befitting reply to trolls calling her ‘chhoti haathi’ or ‘mini haathi’ (baby elephant). She went on to call the negative comments ‘music to my ears’.

Debina, who is known to speak her mind, said, “You all comment ‘chhoti haathi’ or ‘mini haathi’, don’t know why there are like music to my ears.” Furthermore, Debina went on to reveal that she takes things positively. She said, “Whenever I hear it, I think mehnaat karna mat ruka (Do not stop working hard). When society taunts you, you take it positively and work towards your best.”

The actress added the negative comments motivate her to do better in life. She said, “The fat in the lower stomach feel solid. That is the most difficult part to reduce. But I will do it. Gaaliyon ko aane dijiye (Let the abuses come). Then, I get more motivation. If I wear loose outfits, it is camouflaged. But I don’t want to camouflage. I want to wear a bikini again and flaunt again… just like I did in Maldives. I dream of it and keep working out.”

Debina has always been candid about her fitness journey. She is working hard to get back in shape and her social media posts are proof of that.

When Debina recalled people calling her ‘desperate’

When it comes to trolling, Debina knows how to give it back to the haters. In an earlier interview with Bollywood Bubble, Debina had opened up about the backlash she received after she announced her second pregnancy. Debina had revealed that she was called ‘desperate’.

The actress had said, “I kind of knew this is the way people would say, but so harsh, so rude, that I never assumed, like ‘why so soon’, ‘you won’t be able to give Liana the love she deserves’, ‘you did it too early’, ‘you were too much in a hurry,’ ‘you were too desperate’, so all these kind of things I have heard.” Debina added that it used to hurt her but then ‘I have developed a shell that it does not hit me anymore, it just hits the shell and goes.’
