Actor Devoleena Bhattacharjee is pregnant as she announced her pregnancy news on Instagram on Independence Day. She shared several pictures with her family that appeared to be from a puja. However, in one of the pictures, Devoleena is seen holding a kid’s jumpsuit that has ‘you can stop asking now’ written on it. Well, it only proves that she has put an end to the pregnancy rumours as she is expecting her first child.

Announcing her pregnancy news, Devoleena Bhattacharjee captioned, “Celebrating the divine journey to motherhood with the sacred Panchamrit ritual, where tradition and love blend to bless the mother and her unborn child with health, prosperity, and joy during this beautiful chapter of life.”

Devoleena on pregnancy rumours

On June 27, Devoleena posted a series of pictures on her Instagram enjoying herself on a beach. These pictures caused a frenzy as netizens speculated the actress was expecting. In response to these pregnancy rumours, the actress wrote on her Instagram Stories, “Many people have been messaging me for a long time regarding my pregnancy, creating news about it. I am sure that whenever I feel like sharing such news with you all, I will do it myself. For now, please do not bother me.”

Addressing the rumours, she once told News18, “I get irritated when I get messages or calls asking about rumours. If it is my personal life, I’ll tell you whenever I feel like it. Don’t bother me or don’t worry about it. Everything has the right time. There are so many rumours about me which I laugh at. I was shocked. There’s nothing one can do about it.”
