‘Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji’ actor Ankit Shah ties the knot amidst Covid-19 scare; shares glimpses from his wedding

‘Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji’ actor Ankit Shah is on cloud nine these days. After all, he is a married man. Yes, the actor tied the knot with his fiancée Aashima Naira on June 30 amid the Coronavirus scare. He even treated his fans and followers to a lovely picture of his gorgeous wife. Read on to know the deets.

As per a report in Times of India (TOI), Ankit and Aashima had planned a grand marriage on June 11 however owing to the Covid-19 lockdown, they opted for a simple ceremony in Arya Samajh Mandir attended by just their close family members.

Earlier talking about marrying amidst the lockdown, the actor had told TOI, “Given the unpredictability of the times we live in, we decided to get married on June 30. We had originally planned to invite 500 guests. However, we have now reduced it to 50 people, following the new guidelines. We will perform two rituals at my home, for which I am still in talks with my housing society members. It will be followed by saat phere at the Arya Samaj mandir. We will make sure that every guest goes for a medical check-up a day before the wedding.”

On the work front, Ankit was last seen in ‘Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji’. He has also featured in shows like ‘Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil’, Chandragupta Maurya’, ‘Veera’ and ‘Shaurya Aur Suhani’ to name a few.
