Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Is Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal quitting the show? The actor reacts

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been running on television since 13 years. Dilip Joshi is playing Jethalal on the sitcom and he is one of the most loved characters. Since 2008, he has been there and has a huge fan following all across the country. In an interview, Joshi opened up about his journey in TMKOC and also addressed the reports of quitting the show.

He told ETimes, “My show is a comedy show and it’s fun being a part of it. So till the time I enjoy it, I will do it. The day I feel that I am not enjoying it anymore, I will move on.”

He also said that he gets offers from other shows, but he feels that when TMKOC is doing well, he unnecessarily doesn’t want to quit this one for something else.

“This is a beautiful journey and I am happy with it. People love us so much and why would I want to ruin that for no reason,” he added.

Very few of you might know this that Dilip appeared in several movies in the past. He said that he has much more to do in terms of acting adding, “Life abhi puri baaki padi hai. The movies of today are taking up such wonderful subjects, so I would never leave a good film role if I am offered. Right now I am enjoying what is happening in my life.”
