Dipika Chikhlia recently grabbed the headlines when Ramanand Sagar’s popular serial ‘Ramayan’ was re-telecast amid the lockdown. She was all over in the news. She rose to fame after playing Sita’s role in the mythological show. Dipika got married to businessman Hemant Topiwala in 1991. They have two daughters Nidhi and Juhi Topiwala.
A few days back, Dipika shared a picture of her daughters and wrote an endearing post for them. “As I said ..I continue…life too continues ….all the riches in the world could not have given me all the happinesss that I got with the coming of my girls in my life.
Life is about moments and memories and enjoying each one of them…Life is acceptance and working with the given situations
Life is what you see and what you make of it”(sic), she wrote for her daughters.

Talking about Dipika, she made her acting debut with 1983 film ‘Sun Meri Laila’. She appeared in movies like ‘Bhagwan Dada’, ‘Kala Dhanda Goray Log’, and ‘Doorie’ to name a few. She did a few TV serials like ‘The Sword of Tipu Sultan’ and ‘Luv Kush’. She later joined politics and was the Member of Parliament from Baroda constituency (1991-1996) as a Bharatiya Janata Party candidate.
Dipika made her Bollywood comeback with Ayushmann Khurrana’s and Yami Gautam starrer ‘Bala’. She played the role of Yami’s mother in the film.
