Dipika Kakar’s husband Shoaib Ibrahim to also be part of Sasural Simar Ka 2?

Dipika Kakar’s fans are over the moon as she is all set to return with the second season of her most loved show Sasural Simar Ka 2. Dipika had become a household name as Simar when the first season had rolled out. Well, now she will be spreading her magic on-screen again.

But if the latest reports are to be believed then she will not be alone this time. She will also be joined by her husband Shoaib Ibrahim who is also said to be a part of the second season as Prem. It is also said that Shoaib and Dipika have already started filming for it.

According to a report by SpotbotyE, a source revealed, “The show will start with original Simar and Prem played by Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim. The duo has already started shooting for it. However, the story will move ahead with the new star cast including faces like Avinash Mukherjee, Radhika Muthukumar and Akash Jagga in pivotal roles.”

Talking about her return to the show, Dipika had told TOI, “I have maintained that Simar is a part of me and will always be alive in me. I may have played the character for six years, but I continue to live it till date. People in my Sasural still address me as Simar.” She further added, “Also, as an artiste, I have never thought that I won’t go back to a show or down the same path.”
