Divya Agarwal reacts to ex Varun Sood’s cryptic tweet, slams trolls calling her ‘gold digger’

Divya Agarwal recently surprised fans as she announced her engagement with Apurva Padgaonkar. Divya was earlier in a relationship with Varun Sood, but they called it quits in March this year. After Divya announced her engagement, Varun tweeted a cryptic calm emoji, and many assumed that it was his reaction to her engagement. Post that, a few netizens attacked Divya online and called her ‘gold digger’. Now, Divya has reacted to the trolls. The actress said that netizens should avoid talking about her personal life.

Speaking with ETimes, Divya said, “I would not want to comment on his reaction, but I would expect some sensitivity from fans, regarding my engagement. I have been in relationships and have always been open about it, but that should not mean that netizens can say anything on my personal life.”

The actress added, “I am engaged now and they should show some sensitivity and not talk about my past relationship. I am in a very happy space and look forward to my life with Apurva.”

On Wednesday, Divya shared a bunch of photos on Instagram as she announced her engagement on 30^th birthday. Divya captioned the pics, “Will I ever stop smiling? Probably not. Life just got more sparkly and I found the right person to share this journey with. His #BaiCo. A forever promise. From this important day, I will never walk alone.”

Pavitra Punia, Arti Singh, Jay Bhanushali, Esha Gupta, and others took to the comment section and showered love on Divya and her fiancé.
