Actors Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya who recently headed to Europe for a vacation were robbed. Divyanka and Vivek headed to Florence, Italy for a vacation but little did they know that their vacation would turn out to be a nightmare. The couple was robbed of Rs 10 Lakh along with their passports, wallets and all their valuable items. Speaking about the robbery, Dahiya spoke to TOI, saying that they were left behind with some old clothes and food items. They have urged help from the Indian embassy.
Vivek Dahiya spoke about their robbery
He told the portal, “Everything about this trip has been incredible, except for this incident. We arrived in Florence yesterday and planned to stay for a day. We went to check out a property we liked for our stay and left all our belongings in a car parked outside. However, when we returned to get our stuff, we were shocked to find that the car had been broken into, and our passports, wallets, money, shopping, and all our valuable items were gone. Fortunately, they left behind some old clothes and food items.“
“We require temporary passports and substantial help from the embassy to get back to India, as we have nothing with us,” he added.
Divyanka and Vivek have been sharing pictures from their Europe trip on social media and it looks perfect. She even shared a few pictures to wish her husband Vivek on their anniversary and captioned, “Saath…Yeh zindagi ek khubsoorat carousel si hi hai! Happy wedding anniversary…from us to us.”
Vivek Dahiya gives a glimpse of their robbery
Dahiya even shared a video on his Instagram stories to show his fans how the robber broke into their car to steal their belongings. In the video, Vivek is heard saying that they broke the car’s windows and stole documents, passports and the shopping bags that they had bought in the last few days. Moreover, the Qayamat Ki Raat actor also shared that the hotel people said it was a secured location and yet a robbery occurred.
The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor also shared a post on her IG stories and captioned, “Vivek and I are safe and sound but most our essentials, passports, bank cards and expensive goods are gone from our car in a resort property. Just hoping for the prompt help from the embassy.“
