Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress Divyanka Tripathi’s aunt succumbs to COVID-19

The second wave of Coronavirus has hit the entire nation. The massive spike in the Covid-19 cases has caused havoc in everyone’s life. Television actress Divyanka Tripathi’s aunt Rakhi Tripathi breathed her last today. She had contracted the deadly virus. While Divyanka is yet to react to this piece of news, it was her mother Neelam Tripathi who confirmed the news via her social media handles.

Divyanka’s mother, Neelam Tripathi took to her Facebook account and sharing the news of her sister-in-law’s death, she wrote, “Meri devrani Rahki Tripathi ka sawargwas ho gaya, sabhi se anurodh hai ghar rahe surakshit rahe(sic) (My sister-in-law Rakhi Tripathi has passed away. I request everyone to stay home and stay safe.)”

Divyanka is extremely close to her family. The death of her aunt must have left her devastated. We extend our deepest condolences to the actress and her family.

Recently, Mahabharat actor Satish Kaul passed away due to Covid-19 complications. In the last few months, several B-town celebs have contracted the deadly virus. With each passing day, the surge in Covid positive cases is only witnessing an upward graph. Following the rise in the cases, the Maharashtra government has imposed a 15-day lockdown in the state.
