‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ actor Anas Rashid blessed with a baby boy; co-star Deepika Goyal showers love

‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ was one of the most talked-about shows on television and the lead cast Anas Rashid and Deepika Goyal aka Sooraj Rathi and Sandhya had become household names. Anas was recently blessed with a baby boy and his fans have been showering the actor a lot of love along with his co-star Deepika.

Anas took to his Instagram account and shared a lovely picture of his parents holding their newborn granddaughter.  The picture was every bit of love and serenity. Baby Kabib was wrapped up in blue clothing as the little munchkin snuggled in his grandfather’s arms. The caption read, “My father welcomes home his grandson -‘Khabib Anas Rashid’ ?????❤️❤️ Thanks for all your priceless love and wishes on this awaited occasion????(sic)” Anas’ co-star Deepika dropped some love on this post along with everyone else.

Anas tied the knot with Heena Iqbal, who is corporate professional, in Chandigarh in 2017. The couple were blessed with a baby girl last year who they named Aayat.

Meanwhile, after ‘Diya Aur Bati Hum’ went off-air, Sooraj reportedly took a sabbatical to spend his time farming back home.  He was seen in shows like ‘Kahiin To Hoga’, ‘Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa’, ‘Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan’ and many more.
