Angira Dhar who was supposed to play the role of Haseena Parkar in the web series Dongri To Dubai has reportedly opted out from it. Recently, the shoot was resumed at Madh Island in Mumbai. As per reports, Angira chose Ajay Devgn’s MayDay over Dongri To Dubai. It was basically due to the dates clash Angira had to walk out of the series as the makers of the series wanted Angira on the same dates.
As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, Kritik Kamra has replaced Angira. She will now play the role of Dawood’s sister Haseena Parkar in the web series. Kamra was recently seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tandav. Dongri To Dubai is based on the book Dongri to Dubai: Six Decades of the Mumbai Mafia by Hussain Zaidi. Directed by Rock On 2 fame Shujaat Saudagar, it also has Avinash Tiwary who is playing the role of Dawood Ibrahim.
The web-series, produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani would show the life of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. Earlier, Avinash, taking to his Twitter handle gave a sneak-peek of the first schedule. He shared a picture of him where he was seen holding a cigarette in one hand and his back facing the camera.

Also, earlier Asian Age quoted a source saying that the cost of the show is high because of the scale of the project. “Earlier, Amazon Prime had done The Family Man with Raj And DK and before that, they had done Inside Edge again with Excel Entertainment, and they too were very high-budgeted properties. But the kind of investments that Amazon Prime is making in Dongri to Dubai is mind-boggling,” said the source.
