Ekta Kapoor shares major throwback picture to wish BFF Smriti Irani and Zubin on their 20th anniversary

TV czarina Ekta Kapoor and actress-turned-politician Smriti Irani are best friends and they never miss out on any opportunity to be each other’s cheerleader. From wishing each other on birthdays to being by each other’s side on all special occasions, Ekta and Smriti are true friendship goals.

Today as Smriti is celebrating her 20th wedding anniversary with husband Zubin Irani, Ekta shared a lovely throwback picture of the lovebirds to mark the occasion.

Wishing Smriti and Zubin on their 20th anniversary, Ekta took to her Instagram handle and wrote, “Happie anniversary love birds ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️(sic).”

Replying to Ekta’s post, the Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi actress wrote, “❤️❤️❤️thanchuuu.”

Smriti also shared a mushy post to wish her husband on their anniversary. Sharing a video compilation of their beautiful moments, the former actress wrote, “20 years of friendship, adventures galore.. I am admittedly not the easiest person to be with .. not a regular housewife or a homebody, always running to chase my dreams while you made sure sanity prevailed in the chaos that ensued … can I say thank you enough I guess not .. coz dosti mein no sorry no thank you … that’s what our 20 years have been about .. about me being cheesy & filmy and you being a class apart , about me being cantankerous & you being an ocean of calm.. about me being a bathroom singer & you dancing with absolute abandon & joy .. here’s to the opposites that mercifully stayed attracted to each other for 2 decades ..
