Elvish Yadav becomes the WINNER of Bigg Boss OTT 2, BEATS Abhishek Malhan

Touted to be one of the most popular and controversial shows, Bigg Boss OTT 2 grand finale has come to an end. The grand finale of this season took place on 14 August, 2023. Among the contestants, Elvish Yadav, Abhishek Malhan, Pooja Bhatt, Bebika Dhurve, and Manisha Rani emerged as top 5 finalists of the show. While Pooja, Bebika, and Manisha Rani got evicted, Elvish Yadav and Abhishek Malhan emerged as the top 2 contestants. But Elvish Yadav was announced as the winner by the host Salman Khan.

Elvish Yadav emerges as the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2

Elvish and Abhishek were pitted against each other for the winner’s trophy. But, the 25-year-old youtuber was announced as the winner by host Salman Khan. After the announcement, he was seen hopping with joy. As a winner, Elvish won a cash prize of Rs 25 Lakhs and lifted the coveted Bigg Boss trophy.

Talking about his journey in the show, he entered the show alongside Aashika Bhatia as a wild card contestant. His journey was a roller-coaster ride comprising some high and low moments. For one of the tasks, he was declared as the assistant of housemates. His friendship with Abhishek Malhan was much talked about. Apart from Abhishek, his camaraderie with Jiya Shankar was also a highlight. Elvish grabbed headlines after he was reprimanded by Salman Khan for using abusive language towards Bebika Dhurve.

About Bigg Boss OTT 2

The show premiered on June 17 at the OTT platform Jio Cinema. It was hosted by superstar Salman Khan. Bigg Boss OTT 2 was planned as a six-week reality show but it got an extension due to the popularity. Apart from the finalists, the other contestants on the show were Jiya Shankar, Akanksha Puri, Cyrus Broacha, Jad Hadid, Aaliya Siddiqui, Avinash Sachdev, Aashika Bhatia, Falaq Naaz, and Palak Purswani.
