Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav has been in the news for wrong reasons these days. From grabbing headlines for allegedly slapping a fellow social media influencer to getting arrested for possession of snake venom, the YouTuber has been at the forefront of quite a few controversies. Last month, Elvish Yadav was sent to judicial custody for 14 days after reports of his alleged involvement in snake venom case were proved. As per the latest development in the case, a 1200-page chargesheet has been filed against Elvish and seven others.
1200-page chargesheet filed against Elvish Yadav
According to reports in ANI, the 1200-page chargesheet filed by the Noida Police reveals how the snakes were smuggled and how their venom was used at the parties. It said that Yadav was in contact with the snake handlers who were first arrested by the police. The chargesheet also mentioned that a poisonous snake and 20 milliliters of venom from the Krait species were recovered from the party location, reported ANI citing the police. Statements of 24 witnesses were also recorded in the chargesheet.
About snake venom case
In November 2023, Elvish and 5 others were booked under the Wildlife (Protection) Act and Section 120 B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code for providing snake venom to a party in Noida’s Sector 51. Reports were also rife that the YouTuber uses animals for his videos. While Yadav refuted the charges against him calling them “baseless and fake”, he was arrested on March 17 and was sent to 14 days of judicial custody. However, he was granted bail by the Gautam Buddha Nagar district court five days later.
Elvish Yadav rose to fame after he won Bigg Boss OTT 2 despite being a wild card entry. Apart from snake venom case, Elvish has been in news for slapping YouTuber Maxtern and unfollowing close friend Manisha Rani.
