Elvish Yadav and Rajat Dalal have made the headlines for their racist remarks on Bigg Boss 18 contestant Chum Darang. A video from their podcast went viral on the internet where Rajat, Elvish had taken a dig at Karan Veer Mehra as he chose Chum to date.

As per the latest updates, National Commission has summoned Elvish Yadav over alleged racist remarks against Bigg Boss 18 contestant Chum Darang. To which Elvish has responded and shared his official statement on X. He wrote, “A statement from my podcast is being taken out of context and presented in a misleading way. There was never any intention to target or insult anyone. I have always believed in respect and inclusivity, and those who know me understand that I have nothing but love for everyone. It’s unfortunate that a false narrative is being created, completely misrepresenting my words.”

He further added, “This whole issue is based on false allegations of racism, which is simply not true. To avoid further misinterpretation, the statement was removed from the podcast, and I also addressed the clarification in my next vlog. I have always stood for positivity and inclusivity and will continue to do so.”

FWICE President BN Tiwari demands Elvish Yadav’s removal from Laughter Chefs 2. He took to X and shared, “We strongly condemn the promotion of Mr. Elvish Yadav. As you are well aware, he has made racial comments against Bigg Boss 18 contestant Chum Darang and has been widely criticized on social media platforms.”

He concluded, “Furthermore, several cases have been registered against him, including his arrest in the snake venom rave party case. He also faces legal charges under the Wildlife Act in Noida for allegedly arranging snake venom at rave parties.”

Earlier, Chum Darang responded angrily to the comments, denouncing Yadav’s actions. She conveyed her disappointment and emphasized the hurt that such remarks create in a statement.

On her Insta story, she wrote, “Disrespecting someone’s identity and name is not ‘fun.’ Mocking someone’s achievements is not ‘banter.’ It’s time we draw the line between humour and hate. What’s even more disappointing is that this wasn’t just about my ethnicity my hard work and a film backed by a visionary like Sanjay Leela Bhansali were also disrespected.”
