EXCLUSIVE: Did you know Abhinav Shukla lost his wedding ring given by Rubina Dilaik one day after the shaadi? Read what happened

Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla are considered to be one of the most loved couples in the television industry. The duo got hitched in Shimla in an intimate wedding in 2018. But, did you know Abhinav Shukla lost his wedding ring after getting hitched to Rubina?

Now, in an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble for the second episode of Chemistry 101 season 2, the lovebirds spilt some beans about each other. The Diya Aur Baati Hum actor revealed how he lost his wedding ring on the same day of their wedding. “Next day, We were going to Ludhiana for our second wedding reception. I am absolutely not a ring person, the only thing I can actually wear is a watch, not even a chain nothing. The moment the ring came on, I was fidgeting with it. The next morning, I stepped into the shower and it was slipping off. It shouldn’t be like it falls inside the drain, so kept it on the shelf. I showered, I came out, changed my clothes and we were on the way to Ludhiana and after one hour, Rubina said ‘where is the ring?’ and I was like ‘damn, it’s on the shelf.’ So, we went back and checked, but it wasn’t there, gone.”

Abhinav also opened up on his proposal but it went wrong. He said that in January 2017, he had bought a ring and planned to pop the question in Churdhar, a two-hour drive from Rubina’s village. However, later, he had to ditch the plan to propose. Rubina also said that she was disheartened that he did not formally propose her, but later, he had popped in the ring in the wine glass which Rubina was drinking, which left her surprised.
