EXCLUSIVE: Asha Negi on facing judgements over her breakup with Rithvik Dhanjani and moving on

Asha Negi is a wild child in real life and is all set to bring that to foray as Bindiya in Khwabon Ke Parindey. The actress shared her excitement about playing Bindiya in the show and how it helped unleash her lesser-known side to people. Apart from this, we asked Asha about dealing with mental health and a piece of advice for people who are going through a difficult time. Moving on, Asha Negi also spoke about the judgements she had to face after she spoke about her breakup with Rithvik Dhanjani. She revealed that fans bashed her for it. However, she reiterated that all she wants is happiness for Rithvik and that she has moved on from it.

When we asked Asha Negi how difficult was it to move on from her past relationship, she recounted, “Yes, it was very difficult. I remember my first interview for Baarish happened when the news [of the breakup] had come out. That was the first time, I was having an interview after that [breakup]. The journalist asked me about it and I answered nicely about it saying that we are on good terms and everything. Fans bashed me left, right, and center saying ki arey isko toh farak nahi padhta, yeh toh smile karke bol rahi hai.”

Asha Negi shared, “I was thinking to myself that how can people be so judgmental. what did they know about what happened and what I went through? I mean they know nothing but they want to judge you,” she added that she does feel bad for Ashvik fans because they are finding it difficult to accept it. “I feel bad for loyal Ashvik fans who are still mourning the breakup that happened. But I want to say that we want the best for each other, and what each other to flourish and there are no hard feelings. We have moved on,” Asha repeated.

Asha Negi has since then channelised all her strength in picking great scripts and evolving each day as an actor. Be it Baarish or now Khwabon Ke Parindey, Asha’s acting chops cannot be missed.
