EXCLUSIVE: Divyanka Tripathi recalls a production guy say ‘I will ruin your career’ after rejection

Divyanka Tripathi is one of the most loved actresses in the television industry. She enjoys a massive fan following on social media. She rose to fame with the show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, where she played the role of Dr. Ishita Iyer. Now, during an exclusive chat with Divyanka Tripathi for Xtraordinary You on Bollywood Bubble, she recalled an incident wherein a production guy said that he will ruin her career after she rejected him.

The actress told Bollywood Bubble that a production guy had fallen for her. “He was trying to entice me and being not interested, hence, he went into a full revenge mode and he decided to take revenge that he will ruin my life. Gave wrong news about me, troubled me.”

Further, she said that it doesn’t matter now. “That time has become so old, people were also like that in those days. I was very naïve, was almost a kid. I didn’t know people talk like that, I just knew what is wrong and right. Then I got an offer from somewhere, that you have to be with this director and you will get a big break. But why me? I was told that ‘you are really intellectual, this, that.’ Selling it like my life will be made just by that and everyone is doing it.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Divyanka was last seen on TV screen on the stunt reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, hosted by Rohit Shetty, where she performed numerous dangerous stunts. She was given the title of Dhakad and was the first runner up of the season.
