EXCLUSIVE: Erica Fernandes on KRPKAB co-star Shaheer Sheikh: There was NEVER any problem between us

Erica Fernandes is a popular name on Indian television, she has been on the top of her game on Television for four years. Be it as Sonakshi in Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi or Prerna in the new series of Kasautii Zindagi Ke Erica has left her fans and critics impressed with her talent.

The actress was in the limelight post her decision to quit Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi 3. Also for her relationship with co-star Shaheer Sheikh. Rumours abounded that there was a rift between the KRPKAB co-stars.

In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Erica Fernandes has finally opened up on a rift between her and Shaheer Sheikh. Erica said that there never was any problem between us.

Speaking about rumours of a rift between her and Shaheer Sheikh Erica Fernandes said, “For the longest time and there are a lot of people whom I don’t follow on social media who are actually my friends but does that actually not make them my friends because I am not following them there or I have not liked their pictures or I have not commented there. I don’t need that validation from social media or the followers on social media to tell me what my life is going to be like or if I am happy or not. I don’t need that validation and there was a scene in Kuch rang where I was telling Elena this. The writer had written two lines and the entire para I said on my own. I said sir I am adding these lines because these need to be said and a lot of people need to know that social media is not their life. So I added those lines though could say a lot more but I just kept it till there.”

Speaking about some issues between her and Shaheer she said, “I don’t think there were any issues and there were a lot of people who were like, “Why are you not following him?” and I used to always be like why are these people telling me why you are not following him? Then there was a point where he didn’t want people to follow him because he knew the backlash those people would face while following him. So most of his family and friends never followed him for this reason. Then after a point when he was ok and said that ok now fine, that is as we respect each other and there is respect in everything you do. You respect a person when they say ok don’t do this then u certainly don’t do that.”
