EXCLUSIVE: Gauahar Khan recalls her first monsoon memory with Zaid Darbar: It was just the most perfect romantic drive

Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar treated their massive fan base with a glimpse of their sizzling chemistry in the romantic music video Baarish Mein Tum. The couple won hearts with their music video Baarish Mein Hum. Ahead of the release of Baarish Mein Hum, Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar sat down with us for a candid conversation.

As the song Baarish Mein Hum revolves around monsoon and rains, the couple opened up about their sweet memories with the season. In an exclusive interview with us, Gauahar was asked about her first rain memory with her husband, Zaid. She recalled the memory and revealed it just the ‘most perfect’ romantic drive.

Gauahar told Bollywood Bubble, “I think, the first time we ever sat in a car together, ever, was the time when he visited me in Pune, for the first time, during lockdown. And, he had come with special permission, to meet me, because I was in the hospital alone, with Papa. So, he had not eaten anything or whatever, so I said, ‘No, come home’ which is my Pune home, so that he can eat something.”

She added, “He was so nervous to be sitting in my car. Because, I was driving and his car was following. Because, it was a new city for him. So, he was sitting next to me. And, right that drive, from the hospital to my house in Pune, which is just the most gorgeous greenery filled road and rain, and woh gaana chal raha tha, Kusoor by Prateek Kuhad.”

Khan continued, “And, I was introducing him to that song. Because, he had never heard that song before and it was just the most perfect, romantic drive, it was beautiful.”
