EXCLUSIVE: Gauahar Khan says she ‘died laughing’ when she saw husband Zaid Darbar with a moustache

Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar are one of the most loved couples in the industry. Gauahar and Zaid got married on December 25, 2020. Recently, the lovebirds starred in a music video for the song ‘Baarish Mein Tum’. The couple won hearts with their sizzling chemistry in it. Zaid sported a new look in the same. And now, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Gauahar revealed her hilarious reaction when she saw husband Zaid with a moustache for the first time.

The actress said, “They just told me ki shoot mein yeh hone wala hai (moustache) so I said yes Zaid go for it and he was very excited ki ek naya look try kar rahe hai. First he was scared.”

Zaid added, “Excited and nervous. I was nervous because bilkul bhi mera kisi workout n all pe dhyan tha nahi and I was doing something else. Aur mere body ka pata nahi kya hai issue, if I’m not doing anything everything will be proper means it will go thin, muscle loss but mera face swollen ho jata hai pata nahi kyu. And my face I knew.. if you check also it’s lesser than what it was so I was thinking ‘aare yaar ye face ko toh atleast 15-20 din jayenge but shoot toh parso hi hai’ (I was thinking it will take 15-20 days but the shoot is day after tomorrow). So they said ki remove it and I was scared because I know how it’s looking, thoda I know it can look better than what it is right now fir maine bola chod yaar kar lete hai (but then I was like let it be and let’s just do it)”

Gauahar went on to add, “But anyway he was ready to do it because Adil said ke karlo. So I went into his van kaafi time chal raha tha and everytime I’m asking his assistant ki sir tayar hai kya so he’d say ki daadi-waadi chal rahi hai and all that. I said chalo chalo late ho raha hai and tell him to be on time. Main fully puri tayar hogayi and Zaid abhi tak kyu nahi nikle so mein gayi ye bolne ke liye ki come on we have to go on set (So I went into his van because it was taking time and every time I’m asking his assistant that is he ready or not and he’d say that he was shaving and all that. I said it’s getting late and tell him to be on time. I was fully ready and Zaid was not ready yet so I went to tell him that we have to go on set)”

She continued, “I completely forgot ki Danish said woh daadi kar rahe hai. Mein bhul chuki thi tab tak. Toh maine room mein enter kiya and first I was like why you’re getting so late. I entered and baat karte karte he just turned and looked at me like that and I cracked up. I don’t know if he has a video of that but Oh my God I died. I died laughing because I’ve never seen him like that. It was very funny but he looked so good. He looked his part, he looked his character and I loved it.”
