EXCLUSIVE: Helly Shah admits to getting bothered by nasty media reports: They think they have the right to write nonsense

Actor Helly Shah is one of the most popular actors in the Telly world. Apart from Hina Khan, Helly was another TV star who even graced the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2022. She began her career with Star Plus’s show Gulaal and then went on to do several shows after that. However, Shah earned wider recognition with her dual portrayal of Saltanat Zaroon and Kaynaat Shah in Sufiyana Pyaar Mera and her portrayal of Riddhima Vansh Raisinghania in Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 and its web series Ishq Mein Marjawan 2: Naya Safar.

Amidst her fame and achievements, follows some nasty rumours and reports that can affect a star. Speaking about the same, recently, the Swaragini actor indulged in a heartfelt conversation with Bollywood Bubble where she admitted that dreadful media reports affected her. During an exclusive interview with us, Helly said, “Some days it would bother me that people do write shitty things like usko show nahi mil raha hai, nonsense they write. They think that they have all the right to write nonsense about somebody else but they don’t think ki shayad uspe kaisa affect karega.”

“Of course, I was staying alone with my house help toh aisa koi share karnewala bhi tha nahi. I had somebody else also like my mom or my brother with me but I was very sure in my mind, in my head, I had a plan that, till the time I don’t get what I want, I’m not going to take up any other show. I was very sure, of course, aise din aate hai where I’m very low, where I don’t feel like doing anything. But I think that’s a phase and wo din nikal jaata hai and then you also get back to normal. I was very strong in my head, I knew what I want to do. This is my passion eventually so if I’ll not follow my passion I don’t want to do anything just for money. Fir toh maine bohot shows kar liye hote. Right now also If I’m doing a show, that’s because I don’t want to do a show right now. Agar sirf paison ke liye kaam karna tha, I would have done a lot of things,” Helly Shah told us.

In this same interview, the Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 actor also spoke about her journey into showbiz, starting work as a teenager, facing rejections and realising her fandom.
