EXCLUSIVE: Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij open up about their fights after marriage, share what has changed

Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij are one of the most adorable celebrity couples in the entertainment industry. They have been married for over 11 years now and share a great bond of friendship. As we are all well aware, there are always fights when it comes to loved ones. It is always said that fighting strengthens the relationship and makes the bond stronger. Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij opened up about their fights on the last episode of Bollywood Bubble’s chat show, Chemistry 101 season 2.

In an exclusive chat with us, Mahhi said, “So now we don’t fight at all. Koi argument hi nahi hota hai. Kyunki ek time tha jaha baat hoti thi. Abhi ek time aa gaya hai ki jabhi baat karne ka mauka milta hai toh ‘You know, your daughter is there and all your time is going there’. Toh woh argument ka time hi nahi hota. (There are no arguments at all. Because there was a time when we used to talk. Now the time is such that whenever we get the opportunity to talk ‘You know, your daughter is there and all your time is going there’. So we don’t have time for arguments)”

Talking about the fights that happened when they first got married, Jay revealed that Mahhi and he fought a lot, on everything. He said, “Bohot zyada. Har cheez pe. Tab kya, main ek boy tha. Woh boy kya, jab shaadi karta hai na uski reed ki haadi thodi tedi rehti hai, aur usse thok thok ke seedhe karne mein bohot maahir rehti hai aurate. (We used to have a lot of fights. On everything. Back then, I was a boy. When a boy gets married, his bone is a bit crooked, then his wife comes and straightens it)”

Mahhi added, “I think, tabhi jo fights hoti thi, woh hoti thi. Kyunki woh genuine fights hoti thi. Aur abhi yaad bhi nahi hai ki last fight kab hui thi. (I think, the fights that happened back then, just happened. Because they were genuine fights. And now, I don’t remember when we last fought)”

Mahhi continued, “Toh pehli ki fights kya hota tha, ki ek toh I am an Arian. Toh mera kya hai, start bhi main karungi, end bhi main karungi. Toh woh ek problem rehti hai. (First when we fought, because I am an Arian, I used to start the fight and end it even. That is a problem I always have had)”

Jay added, “Aaj tak, gyaara saalo mein, maine aaj tak koi bhi conversation nahi jeeta hun iske saath. (To date, in the 11 years, I have not won any conversation with her)” When asked who apologizes first, Mahhi mentioned it is she who says ‘sorry’ first.
