Kusha said, “Loaded question, for me I feel like it is a part of the job, it’s going to happen. If people are going to praise you they are going to criticise you and then some of them are going to be pretty damn mean about what they feel about you. But you also get trained to perform better in this job. You also train yourself to be resilient and to have thick skin. Also train yourself to pick your battles. Initially, I was very confused about which battles to fight? which you could see on my Instagram, because I was a mess, and I don’t think I say mess in a bad way. I say in a neutral way, as I did not know which battle to pick and I was getting extremely affected because I was operating solo. I only had these two three people around me who would tell me what to do.”

She further added, “When you are the creator you are also extremely spontaneous, when something is affecting you then you just say on your story and it affects you. Initially, I did not know how to pick my battles but now I know. I feel like I am in a much more resilient, grounded, and safer space. My biggest trigger is when I am sexualized without my consent. Like if somebody is saying something about my body, or my face I don’t like it. I am the owner of how I want to see myself and if I shoot I must not be sexualized that was my only trigger. Once I got past that and how to sort of take these issues somewhere else, maybe process them in therapy I think it really helped me.”
