Singer Neha Bhasin has never shied away from expressing her thoughts or pulling off a bold outfit. Even though she has faced backlash for her sartorial choices, the singer has managed to leave everyone mesmerized with her confidence. Neha, who has been a part of Bigg Boss OTT, recently teamed with actress Rashami Desai for a music video titled Parwah. During the promotions of Parwah, in an exclusive chat with us, Neha Bhasin opened up about being slut-shamed for what she wore during her stint on Bigg Boss OTT.
Neha told Bollywood Bubble how people character assassinated her for wearing short skirts, during her time on Bigg Boss OTT. When asked if anything that was written or said about her bothered her when she came out, Neha said, “Yes.”
The singer said, “Ok, sahi galat, Bigg Boss ke ghar main har koi karta hai (Ok, so everyone does right and wrong in the Bigg Boss house). Har koi (Everyone). Nobody is devoid of the mistakes morally or otherwise.”

Bhasin added, “But I felt, ki just because main bindaas thi, unfiltered thi, aur mastikhor thi, logon ko laga ki mera character loose hai. Toh uski character ke baare mein kuch bhi bolo (But I felt, just because I am cool, unfiltered, mischievous, people thought my character is loose. So say anything about her character).”
She continued, “I was character assassinated on the show; inside the house and outside. I was also slut-shamed a lot. This has been told by my husband.” Neha then shared what her husband told her. She said, “So, not only that ki sabse, ki ‘6-6 ghante baithke live pe gharwalon ne tujhe slut-shame kiya hai’ (So, not that, the housemates sat for six to six hours live and slut-shamed you).”

Neha added, “And women have done it not just men. So, it was a big learning lesson that I don’t want to care about.”
Recalling the time when the media representatives pointed out how she was being portrayed on national television, Neha shared that her morale went down, after the press conference. She said, “Uske baad mera kaafi morale down ho gaya tha (After that, my morale was wuite down). I think, I got eliminated eventually because those two days, I knew something’s not right. And it started from the media conference that happened.”
