Nikhil Chinapa is one of the most-loved hosts on Indian Television. VJ, host and DJ Nikhil Chinapa has donned the hosts’ cap again for the reality show Wild Villa, which streams on Voot Select. He recently got in touch with us for a chat where he spoke about Wild Villa, the show’s concept, and more.
Sharing how Wild Villa and Splitsvilla are different, Nikhil said, “Wild Villa and Splitsvilla are linked to each other, but it is a separate show in itself. Whoever wins Wild Villa gets the opportunity to compete in Splitsvilla, so only that party is linked with Splitsvilla. But what happens in Wild Villa is a completely different world than what’s going on in Splitsvilla.
“The big difference is that the things which you can otherwise not see on TV due to broadcast rules, being on digital, gives you an elbow room creatively, and we have used it for the show. Wild Villa is a lot more uncensored and raw. That is the first reaction we have got from fans, who have seen the first episode, it looks very different from Splitsvilla because it is unfiltered and raw,” Nikhil added as he highlighted the USP of the show.

However, being calm is just how my personality is.”
Lastly, when asked if we soon get to see him on the big screen, Nikhil shared, “I last did a film back in 2011, Shaitaan. It was a good experience. I would like to do films when a good and creatively satisfying role comes my way.”
