EXCLUSIVE: Nikki Tamboli on Khatron Ke Khiladi 11: I was disturbed and that reflected in my performance

The Coronavirus pandemic claimed several lives. Several B-town celebs too lost their loved ones. Nikki Tamboli too lost her brother Jatin Tamboli to Covid-19 complications. The actress resumed work soon after her brother’s demise. She went on to participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi 11.

In a candid chat with Bollywood Bubble, Nikki opened up but how she coped with her brother’s demise. She also revealed how her co-contestants took care of her while shooting for Khatron Ke Khilkadi 11. Read on.

Sharing her experience of shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, Nikki said, “It was very difficult for me. I was dying from inside but still I was showing that I am fine. Because I went there to do something else but mentally it (her brother’s demise) was eating me from inside. There were my friends who were supporting me who were there for me day and night. Koi insaan aapko itna pyaar kar raha hai jo aapko din raat sath rakh raha hai that was a huge support for me. Especially Arjun Bijlani, Aastha Gill and Abhinav Shukla. They were so caring and looking after me.”

Nikki expressed her gratitude towards her co-contestants who looked after her during KKK 11. “I would like to thank them and they are my friends forever. Everyone was taking care of me and they were very kind to me. But yeah mentally it was very difficult. During Khatron Ke Khiladi I wasn’t mentally and emotionally strong. I was disturbed and that reflected in my performance. But it’s fine, it’s life. You have to accept the reality. It is what it is. So I have accepted it and am just trying to move on and be positive and spread love everywhere I go.”
