A few years back both Yuvika and Prince lost a family member. In 2019, Prince’s younger brother Rupesh Narula died in Toronto by drowning. Sharing about how she anchored Prince after his brother’s death, Yuvika said, “It was very difficult. I don’t want to feel that again in my life ever. It was very tough. When your own guy cries all the time you don’t know how to make him understand. You have to be right there with him. You feel tumhare andar ki kuch chiz toot rahi hai when you see your person breaking down like this. And you feel helpless. I was actually crying more than him.”

Recalling the horrific tragedy, Prince shared, “I had almost signed Khatron Ke Khiladi. Nadeem bhai told me that I am doing Nach Baliye. I thought I have done so many reality shows alone. I’ll do Nach Baliye with my wife..thoda acha bhi lagega. So we signed that show. And in the first episode, he (his cousin) died. If I was doing any other show I would have quit. That was very difficult for us because the day when my brother died it was raining heavily in Bombay. There was so much water-logging that vehicles couldn’t move. We were returning around 2 am and our car got stuck in the water. I was sharing stories (on social media) and asking for help. People said reaching home in that condition won’t be possible and they suggested we better stay in a hotel nearby. So we booked a room in a nearby hotel.”

He further continued, “We were very tired so we slept around 3-4 am. Just as we slept my phone started ringing. I received several calls. Here we were stuck in the rain and there my brother died by drowning in Canada. Relatives called at my place and said, ‘Your son has died’. So when my family saw my social media stories of asking for help, they thought I was the one who died. My parents just collapsed. They were trying to reach my cell. When I answered their call and asked what happened, they both were panicking. I assured them I am fine there’s no need to panic. Then we received a call that said, ‘Tumhare chote bhai ki death ho gayi hai’. So the situation for my parents was like at one moment they saw their two sons dying. So that moment was very difficult for all of us. I went home spoke to everyone. The mortal remains of my brother took one month to reach home.”

Yuvika added, “Yeah the 10-15 days were very tough while rehearsing.”I pray to God that he never ever let even my enemy go through such phase, ” said Prince.
