Actor Tejasswi Prakash was declared the winner of Bigg Boss 15, beating Pratik Sehajpal who became the first runner-up of the show. However, after it was declared, there were some who considered that Pratik was more deserving than Tejasswi. In fact, there is a trend on social media where netizens mentioned that the channel has been biased towards Tejasswi. However, during an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Shamita Shetty’s brother Rajiv Adatia was asked his reaction after she picked up the trophy. He said he was shocked to see Tejasswi winning the show while stating that Pratik was more deserving.
Rajiv told us, “I was actually shocked because I thought Shamita would win, she is obviously my sister and I love her and I was hoping that she would win, I felt she played with dignity and grace. After Shamita, I thought Umar Riaz, if he was in the show, would win the show. In fact, Shamita and Umar were my top 2, I thought Umar was extremely strong but, in the end, I can’t choose between my best friend and sister. I would love Shamita to win if not then I would love to see Umar win, so these two were my top 2. But when he came out of the show, I thought of Shamita and then Karan (Kundrra) or Pratik, actually, Karan and Pratik were in the same barrier,” adding that if Umar wasn’t evicted that he would have won the show. He even mentioned that Riaz was a strong Khiladi and called him one of the nicest people.
“When Teju won, obviously I’m happy for the girl, she really worked hard on the show, my issue with her was only because of Shamita, plus she didn’t do anything wrong with me, I didn’t like the language she used for Shamita. Yes, I was in shock because Pratik was more deserving but I’m happy for Teju but in my opinion, Pratik was more deserving,” Rajiv added.

Talking about the awkward silence after Salman Khan announced Tejasswi Prakash as the winner of the show and asked his views, Rajiv replied saying that initially there was a lot of confusion and it was a roller coaster. He was confused as didn’t know what was going on. “When Teju won everyone was in shock, we thought it would be Pratik, we actually wanted Pratik to win, for me, it was Karan or Pratik,” Rajiv said.
