EXCLUSIVE: Sambhavna Seth’s SHOCKING confession: My mum didn’t want to come for my wedding, I was in tears

Actor Sambhavna Seth and Avinash Dwivedi are amongst the most adored and loved couples in the television industry. And their dreamy love story often wins hearts. The couple got married in July 2016, in Delhi, in the presence of close friends and family. But, Sambhavna Seth and Avinash Dwivedi had to overcome several obstacles before their happily ever after. Only recently, we sat down with Sambhavna and Avinash for a chat. In an exclusive interview with us, Seth made a shocking confession.

Sambhavna Seth opened up about her family’s disapproval of her marriage to Avinash. She revealed her mother did not want to come for her wedding. Sambhavna mentioned she was crying on her Mehendi, because her mother refused to attend the pre-wedding festivities.

Sambhavna told Bollywood Bubble, “My family was like, were against. Woh toh dekhna hi nahi chahte, matlab baat hi nahi karna chahte the, dekhna toh bohot door ki baat hai (They didn’t only want to meet, means, they didn’t even want to speak, meeting was another thing). I had a very tough time. I remember, on my Mehendi also, my mother was not coming, for my Mehendi.”

She added, “People will see very hasne ka videos, wedding wala videos. Agar apne wedding ka video ka actually journey jaanni hai. So, I had like 103 fever, mehendi pe, and I’m smiling. Uske pehle I’m crying, ki Mummy please aa jao, aise mat karo. (People will see videos of me laughing, the wedding videos. If one wants to know the wedding journey. So, I had like 103 fever on the Mehendi day, and I’m smiling. Before that, I’m crying, Mummy please come, don’t do this.)”

Seth continued, “And my parents were not, my father was like still, ab kar hi liya hai, yeh nahi maan rahi hai, toh let’s be with her. But, my mother, till the end, she was very very against it. And, pata nahi phir woh Mehendi pe kaisi aayi, unko kon manake leke aaya. Kyunki main jab aayi tab mummy thi saath me and mummy aa gayi thi mere brother ke ghar pe. So, I was like ‘Yeh kaise hua’. (And, I don’t know how my mom came for my Mehendi, who convinced and got her. Because my mummy came to my brother’s house. So, I was wondering how it all happened)”
