Shweta Tiwari along with many others left for Cape Town on Friday morning for Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. Shortly, her estranged husband Abhinav Kohli recorded himself speaking to the child helpline and posted a video. In the video, he is seen making claims of his son Reyansh behind left behind and abandoned by his mother Shweta. This is not the first time, Abhinav Kohli has pulled off such a stunt. We reached out to Shweta Tiwari for a comment on the same, who put the record straight. She told us that before leaving for Cape Town, she had informed Abhinav Kohli that Reyansh is safe with her family and is doing well before she left. Shweta revealed that she had even requested Abhinav Kohli to give her the consent to travel with Reyansh but he refused.
Shweta Tiwari told Bollywood Bubble, “I had informed Abhinav Kohli over a phone call that I am going to Cape Town and that Reyansh is safe with my family. My mother, my relatives, and Palak are there to take care of him. Plus, I will always be on video calls with Reyansh in between my shoot. I had informed Abhinav Kohli everything and I was surprised yet again to see the video he posted. I really don’t understand the agenda behind it, given that he speaks to Reyansh in the evening over call for about one hour, every day, without fail as per the High Court’s order. To be honest, as per the HC orders he is allowed to speak for only half an hour but he speaks for a longer period but we never stop him. Yet he claims that he doesn’t know where his child is and how he is doing.”
“When I informed him, he wanted to know the address so that he could go there and trouble my family in my absence. He is doing all this only for that,” Shweta Tiwari revealed while talking about Abhinav Kohli.

Shweta Tiwari added, “The channel was, in fact, ready to pay for my son and my nanny’s tickets as well while I had to pay for my mother. I was ready to make them all travel with me to ensure maximum safety. However, Abhinav Kohli did not give me the consent which is required. He did not want Reyansh to be with me, whereas all I wanted was to keep my son close so he could be safer in my proximity. Nevertheless, I have made all the arrangements to ensure my baby is safe and is in regular touch with his father as well. I fail to understand his claims of me abandoning my child when he is very well aware of the safety measures taken.”
“I am a single parent, I need to do the work to run my family. My kids’ well-being is my priority, and I have to fend for them and my family. For someone who is not contributing a single penny to the growth of kids, how easy is it to pull down someone who is trying to balance all their duties,” Shweta Tiwari questioned.
