Actor Sreejitaa De became a household name after she appeared in one of the longest-running shows on Indian television, Uttaran. The actress played the role of Mukta, Tapasya’s daughter, in the show. In 2008, Sreejitaa ventured into the movies space. She went on to make her Bollywood debut with the 2008 film Tashan. The actress was then recognised for her role in Luv Ka The End that did not receive much love from the audience.
Sreejitaa is now ready for her next stint. She has entered the Bigg Boss 16 house as a contestant. Before that, the actress sat down with us for a candid conversation. In an exclusive interview with us, when asked if she ever had regrets or felt sad about how her movie career panned out, Sreejitaa answered.
Sreejitaa De told Bollywood Bubble, “No, not at all. Because, I enjoyed the journey. When we were shooting, we loved it. Jab humne first show dekha tha, theatre mein jaake, we loved it.”

She further added, “So, maybe, it was not received well by the audience, how we were expecting. But, we should never forget the journey. And, the fun and the learnings I got through the film.”
Talking about the movie and the character she played in the film, Sreejita said, “I loved playing that character.”

During the interview, the actress even opened up about her marriage plans. She revealed that her fiance Michael and she were planning to tie the knot in July, this year. However, the actress shared why things did not fall in place. The Bigg Boss 16 contestant spoke about her entry in the controversial show and also her fallout with co-star and friend, Tina Datta. Sreejita broke her silence on her fallout with Tina and revealed if she would continue her friendship with the actress.
