EXCLUSIVE: Surbhi Chandna & Sharad Malhotra on their onscreen chemistry: The Fire was there from the beginning

Bollywood Bubble presents to you Reel Buddies where we get the happening onscreen pairs from the world of entertainment. The onscreen buddies will be seen speaking about their equation, chemistry, likes and dislikes, and their first impression of each other. In our first episode, we have the talented Naagin 5 duo Surbhi Chandna and Sharad Malhotra who are all hearts and fun in our opening episode. The duo spills the beans about their crackling chemistry, their first impression of each other, and indulges in a fun segment titled ‘Buddy Meter’ where we test their bond with each other. The two are house on fire together and are a testimony to the fact that ‘time does not measure any bond.’

When asked about their hot chemistry onscreen, Sharad quipped, “We are just very good actors.” Sharad Malhotra added, “It is very organic. For us, it was just going with the flow, not pre-planning or pre-deciding stuff on how we will do it. It was very organic and fresh. With us, I think it is either ‘it’s gotta be there or it is not there, it is nothing in between.’ That’s what I feel. Be it the chemistry or the onscreen couple, the fire you see right from the beginning or it is never there. Luckily, for us, it was there since day 1 and we did not have to work for it.”

On the other hand, Surbhi Chandna added, “I feel with two good-looking people come together, even if they act well or not, I feel that people like to see it. I don’t know if this is the right place to say this but that is what I felt like and I said it. When two people come together, and if something is striking about them, I feel it works. I feel he is good-looking and I consider myself decent-looking too. (laughs). Also, I feel the character was written so well that the fire was there in the writing itself.”
