Actor Fahmaan Khan – who gained fame through shows like Apna Time Bhi Aayega and Imlie, has recently made a shocking claim. The actor – who has also been a pivotal part of shows like Kya Qusoor Hai Amala Ka?, Mere Dad Ki Dulhan, Pyar Ke Saat Vachan Dharampatnii and now Krishna Mohini, recently revealed he was abused on the sets of Ishq Mein Marjawan. Fahmaan Khan: “The director abused me a lot”
During a recent interaction with Pinkvilla, Fahmaan Khan opened up about his stint in the Nia Sharma and Arjun Bijlani co-starrer Ishq Mein Marjawan. While talking about being a part of the popular show, Khan revealed he was abused by the director on set. Sharing that the director wasn’t happy with his acting skills, the actor said, “Some used to say it on my face and some wouldn’t. When I was doing Ishq Mein Marjawan, the director abused me a lot (laughs).”
Recalling once being asked to memorise an 8-page long script in an hour, Fahaan said, “I was out of my mind thinking how would I memorize all this in such a short time. After 7-8 takes, the director said, ‘kisko lekar aaya hai yaar? Line tak yaad nahi hoti aur phir 2-3 gali baki usne (Who have you brought? He cannot even memorize his lines and then he hurled 2-3 abuses at me). I went back into my room, slapped myself and decided to try it. I picked up the script and did it eventually.”
Fahmaan career
He then essayed the role of CBI Officer Randheer Khurana in Ishq Mein Marjawan followed by Randeep Mehndiratta in Mere Dad Ki Dulhan and Dr. Veerpratap ‘Veer’ Singh Rajawat in Apna Time Bhi Aayega. He then starred in Imlie as Aryan Singh Rathore and Pyar Ke Saat Vachan Dharampatnii as Ravi Randhawa. He’s currently part of Krishna Mohini and plays the character Aryaman ‘Arya’ Mehta in it.
