‘XXX: Uncensored’: FIR filed against Ekta Kapoor again in Indore for insulting national emblem, Hindu gods & the army

TV czarina Ekta Kapoor has been landing into problems one after another for her web series ‘XXX: Uncensored’. Now, an FIR has been filed against her in Madhya Pradesh for allegedly insulting the national emblem, Hindu gods and Army personnel in the web series.

ANI tweeted, “Madhya Pradesh: FIR registered against Producer Ekta Kapoor in Indore alleging insult to the national emblem, Hindu gods & Army personnel in Alt Balaji’s XXX web series.”

Recently, ‘Bigg Boss 13’ fame and YouTuber Hindustani Bhau filed a complaint against Ekta for allegedly disrespecting the Indian Army with obscene content in the series. He also demanded an apology and even asked her to return her Padma Shri award.

As per a report in IANS, Martyrs Welfare Foundation (MWF) chairman, Major T.C. Rao also raised strong objection to the web series, saying that army soldiers sacrifice their lives for the country, but the producer and director have depicted that army men’s wives are intimate with other men while their husbands are away serving for the country.

MWF member Major S.N. Rao said, “In a state like Haryana having representation of over 3.70 lakh army soldiers. This is an insult to them and ex-armymen like us. If Ekta Kapoor will not remove the objectionable scenes from the web series, we will intensify our agitation.”
