Former Bigg Boss contestant Sapna Choudhary booked for cheating, breach of trust; deets inside

Popular Haryanvi singer-dancer and Bigg Boss 11 contestant Sapna Choudhary has been booked on the charges of cheating and breach of trust. According to ANI report, the case was registered against the dancer by the Delhi Police’s Economic Offences Wing.

The same report further stated that apart from Sapna, her mother and brother have also been booked for criminal breach of trust, criminal conspiracy, cheating and misappropriation of funds. Read on to know the details of the case filed against the former Bigg Boss contestant.

As per the ANI report, Pawan Chawla, Director of P&M Movies Pvt. Ltd (celebrity management company), filed a complaint against Sapna and others alleging that the singer-dancer broke the terms of a contract signed by her. This was the same firm managing Sapna as well.

The complaint further stated that Sapna broke artist management agreement. As per this agreement, Sapna wasn’t allowed to work or collaborate with any other company. Nor she could have any direct or indirect contact with any clients of the complainant. The singer was also not permitted to perform on her own for anyone without the permission of the celebrity management company. Apparently, the singer failed to adhere to these clauses following which a case was filed against her. The singer and her family members have been booked under IPC sections 420,120 B,406.

After her stint in Bigg Boss, Sapna went on to become even more popular. She went on to feature in films like Veerey Ki Wedding and Nanu Ki Jaanu. On the personal front, Sapna tied the knot with Veer Sahu. The couple welcomed their first son in October last year.
