EXCLUSIVE: Gauahar Khan breaks down talking about her dad: It’s all his prayers that Zaid came into my life

Gauahar Khan’s father Zafar Ahmed Khan, passed away, on March 5 in a hospital in Mumbai due to prolonged illness. Khan, who was very close to her father mourned his death on social media with an emotional post. On Women’s Day, Gauahar paid tribute to the two men of her life who made her a strong woman in different ways. She also called her father her inspiration in many ways.

In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar opened up about their relationship, first love, heartbreak and a lot more. The former broke down while remembering her dad. She said, “It’s all his prayers that Zaid came into my life. First time I met him was when my dad was in the hospital. So, I totally believe that it was his prayers that got Zaid in my life. Zaid added, “Yah, that’s true.” Gauahar continued, “And his name was with Z, and Zaid’s name is also with Z. So, I will be always be Gauahar Z Khan.”

Also, talking about a bizarre thing that has ever happened, Gauahar said, “We were going to Bandra somewhere. There is a store called Zaid and Zafar in Bandra. Me and my sister were like how can be these two names together. It was just meant to be. Zaid was brought in my life because of my papa.”
