Gauahar Khan’s father Zafar Ahmed Khan passes away; Preeti Simoes posts a heartening video in his memory

Gauahar Khan is reeling in pain. The actress’s father who had not been keeping well for quite some time is no more. Gauahar’s father, Zafar Ahmed Khan, passed away after battling for life in the hospital. Gauahar Khan, off late, had been sharing posts from the hospital as her father was admitted. She asked had asked fans to pray for her father’s health and recovery. But now, unfortunately, he has bid adieu to the world.

Preeti Simoes shared a heartwarming throwback video with Gauahar Khan’s father in his memory. In the video, Gauahar Khan is heard telling, ‘May you and mummy live 100 years.’ Sharing this moving video, Preeti expressed, “Mere Gauahar Ke pappa… (Gauahar and my father). To the man I loved. Lived with pride, and will be remembered with pride.” She sent strength and love to the family. Within moments, many of Gauahar Khan’s fans and friends from the industry shared their deepest condolences with her.

It was only yesterday when Gauahar Khan shared some unseen moments with her father from her wedding. In one of the pictures, Gauahar is seen warmly embracing her father calling him the ‘strongest.’ She wrote, “A father’s kiss. Zafar Ahmed Khan, I love you so much.” In another post, she shared a family picture as her husband Zaid Darbar posed for a picture with her parents. “Ek doosre se karte hain pyaar hum. (We love each other), Gauahar expressed.”

A worried Gauahar Khan had also shared a picture from the hospital, asking God to bless her father. “Rabbir Hum Huma Kamaa Rabbayaani Sageera. Oh, Allah Bless my father,” she wrote.
