Ghum Hain Kisikey Pyaar Meiin: Veteran actress Rekha was paid THIS whopping amount for the promo

One of the popular and enigmatic stars Rekha recently wowed the audience with her magical appearance in the promo of Ghum Hain Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. Her first promo of this Star Plus’ show was received well and many fans, since then, have been eagerly waiting to see her again on screen. Much to fans’ surprise, she graced in another promo as well of the same show. And now, we have learned that the iconic actress was paid a whopping amount to feature in these promos. As per industry sources the Bollywood Diva received around 5-7 crores for the brief 1-minute appearance in the promo.

Now, that is some serious moolah! Don’t you think so! We all know that Bollywood actors make very select appearances on the small screens from but what was the real reason for that brief special appearance? A source from the industry shared, “There is no parallel to Rekha Ji! We all know her charisma is boundless and she was also a part of the first promo when the show was launched. The title of the show is inspired by one of the most melodic tracks of Bollywood and this song has a special place in her heart. It’s truly wonderful that she is a part of the second promo as well which talks about trouble in paradise for Sai & Virat’s love story on the show.”

Talking about the show, it premiered on October 5, 2020, on Star Plus. The series is a remake of Star Jalsha’s Bengali series named Kusum Dola. The series stars Ayesha Singh, Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma and Yogendra Vikram Singh in key roles.
