Gurmeet Choudhary and wife Debina Bonnerjee welcomed their first child, daughter Lianna in April this year. And it was a few days back, the couple announced their second pregnancy. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble where he spoke up about his career trajectory and love story with Debina. He also opened up about their struggle to start a family, life after Lianna’s birth, embracing fatherhood and the surprise they got in the form of their second pregnancy.
On opening up about wife Debina Bonnerjee and his struggle to get pregnant, the Ramayana actor told that they had to try IVF. Read on to know what he has further said.
Gurmeet said, “Hum log kafi time se plan kar rahe the kyunki hum duno ko bacche bohot pasand hai. Mujhe toh khaskar bohot zyada pasand hai. Hum log humesha chahte the ki bacche hone chahiye. Hume kafi pasand hain. Lekin kafi time laga kyunki aasan nahi tha Lianna tak pohochne ke liye. Jab ayi toh life puri badal gayi. Woh life ka aisa turning point hai jaha pe kaha mujhme ek therav aa gaya hai” (We were planning since long as we are fond of kids. Especially, I love kids. We always wanted to have kids as we both like. But it took a lot of time as it was not easy to reach to Lianna. When she came to us, life has changed. It is a turning point that has brought stability). The actor also said that he has become more responsible now.

Gurmeet also revealed that Debina went through a lot and they waited for long for their first child. They got a lot of help from doctors. Lianna was born via IVF. There weren’t expecting that would have their second baby after so many years of struggles to get pregnant with their first baby.
