Hina Khan tests COVID positive; under home quarantine

Hina Khan has tested positive for Covid-19. The actress shared the news on her Instagram handle. She wrote that following the guidance of her doctors, she has quarantined at her home and taking all the necessary precautions. Hina has requested everyone who had come in contact with her to get themselves tested.

Hina’s statement read: “In these extremely difficult and challenging times for me and my family, I have tested positive for Covid-19. Following the guidance of my doctors, I have home quarantined myself and taking all necessary precautions. Requesting everyone who came in contact with me to get themselves tested. All I need is your prayers. Be safe and take care.”

This is really a difficult time for Hina and her family as on April 20, Hina lost her father Aslam Khan due to cardiac arrest. She was in Kashmir shooting for her upcoming music video with Shaheer Sheikh. She rushed back to Mumbai as soon as she heard the news of her dad’s demise. It was extremely shocking for the entire family.

Hina released a statement mourning the death of her father. She wrote, “My beloved father Aslam Khan left for heavenly abode on the 20th of April, 2021. I am grateful to each one of you for checking in on me and my family during these tough times. While me and my family are mourning the loss, my social media accounts will be handled by my team for upcoming work commitments. Thank You for your love and support(sic)”.
