Hiten Tejwani was recently seen in the short film ‘Unkahee’ helmed by Anushree Mehta. The murder-mystery got a digital release on Eros Now. Apart from Hiten, it had a stellar cast including Sehban Azim, Anupriya Goenka, Ayushman Saxena, Ashwin Mishra, Ravi Khemu, Ashoke Pandit amongst others. It is about a story of 11 murders that took place in Delhi in 12 months by one serial killer. All the 6 suspects are locked in one room by the police and they are given the time of 12 hours to figure out who the killer is among them so that the rest can be free.
We asked Hiten what made him sign the movie, to which he said that he loves thrillers, found the script interesting and that’s why he came on board.
Hiten is playing a CBI officer in the movie and it is revealed towards the end. He said, “It’s one set, one location movie which is very difficult plus you have to get into the mind of the suspects because you are also shown as one of the suspects. The other suspects think that I am also one of them. We had to create circumstances to find out who the killer is. It was very difficult to achieve but hats off to Anushree Mehta she did it with elan.”

Recently, we had an interview with Anushree where she raved the entire team. On this, Hiten said, “It’s a team effort. At the end of the day, it can’t be a one-man show. Of course, the director is the captain of the ship but everybody has to work hard because the vision has to come across. The director will tell you to do certain things but then how to do it and get into the skin of the character and portray it, all these things matter. It has to be a team effort. Everybody worked hard towards this and as I have said it is not easy to show or do a thriller which is only on one set and one location. Thrillers usually have different locations, we have chasing sequences and thriller moments. But to create all that in one room, it is a good and fantastic job by Anushree Mehta.”
