Indian Idol 12: Eternal diva Rekha gifts saree to Neha Kakkar as a wedding gift

This weekend, veteran actress Rekha will be gracing the singing reality show, Indian Idol 12. The special episode would be dedicated to Rekha and contestants will perform on the songs picturised on the diva. Rekha was seen wearing a beautiful red and golden saree with heavy jewellery and she looked gorgeous in it.

Rekha said that she was happy to hear about Neha’s wedding and decided to get her a special gift as a “shaadi ka shagun”. Rekha gifted a beautiful Kanjivaram saree to Neha as shagun. This left her speechless and she thanked Mallika Ei Ishq Rekha for the special gift.

Neha said, “This saree is a blessing which I have received from Rekha Mam and this would always be very special to me. Everyone has been in awe of Rekha mam, and I am one of them meeting her and receiving a gift from her is so special. I can’t describe in words how happy I am.”

Rekha said that whenever one meets a newlywed, then one should pour them with their blessings. She believes that saree is one of the most beautiful attire someone can wear. So, she decided to gift Neha a saree.

She also jokingly said, “I have met Rohan earlier then also you didn’t invite me to your wedding”. To which Neha replied if I knew you know me, I would have definitely invited you to my wedding.”

Last weekend on Indian Idol 12, Neetu Kapoor attended the show and she also gave shagun to Neha.

Neha Kakkar and Rohanpreet Singh got hitched in a traditional Anand Karaj ceremony on October 24 at a Gurudwara in New Delhi.
