Is Indraneil Sengupta and Barkha’s marriage in trouble? The former FINALLY breaks his silence

Rumours of actor Indraneil Sengupta hooking up with a Bengali actress Ishaa Saha are doing the rounds. These reports are creating troubles amid Indraneil-Barkha’s happily married life. Indraneil finally broke his silence on the matter, as he spoke to Calcutta Times and rubbished the rumours on the same.

He stated, “Barkha and I are doing absolutely fine, thank you.” He also added, “I do not know the source, but all these are merely rumours. The reports also claimed that I have been visiting Kolkata often. That is untrue. I travel to Kolkata only for work. The last time I was there, it was for a shoot. My next Kolkata trip, too, will just be for some work assignment. Barkha and I have a long ahead and I am okay with such rumours popping up at times. There is nothing I can do about it.”

Actress Ishaa Saha was interviewed, wherein she claimed, “This is not the first time that something like this has happened to me. Earlier, my name was linked with one of my directors. Such reports would hurt me, but I am getting better at dealing with them now. This is a baseless rumour and I am sure the speculations will die down in a few days.”

Barkha and Indraneil celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary on March 2. The duo had met and fallen for each other on the sets of the show, Pyaar Ke Do Naam: Ek Raadha, Ek Shyaam. The show had played Cupid for Indraneil and Barkha but it was not love at first sight for either of them.

It started with their friendship and their happily-ever-after journey. It was in 2007 when Indraneil proposed to Barkha on her birthday by going down on his knees, pulling out the ring and popping the question. A year later, in 2008, the couple tied the knot in an intimate wedding.
