Is Shailesh Lodha getting replaced by Jaineeraj Rajpurohit? Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah makers clarify

Earlier, there were reports stating that Shailesh Lodha is quitting Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah where he essayed the role of Taarak Mehta. Now, the latest reports suggest that Jaineeraj Rajpurohit has been approached for the role of Shailesh. As it was making headlines, the makers of TMKOC cleared the air behind the rumours and dismissed the reports. Talking to Pinkvilla, Neela Film Productions confirmed that this news is “not true.”

Earlier, a video of Asit was circulating on social media where he is seen breaking his silence on Shailesh Lodha’s exit from the show. In the video, Modi is heard saying that his only aim is to keep everyone together but mentioned that they are some who don’t want to limit themselves to TMKOC.

Asit Modi is heard saying in Hindi, “Dekhiye jaise maine pehle bhi kaha hai, Mai sabko sath me jod ke rakhna chahta hu. Lekin agar koi log ana hi nahi chahte, unka pet bhar gaya ho, unko lagta ho humne bohot kuch kar lia, aur kuch karna chahiye, humko sirf TMKOC tak seemit nahi rehna, wo nahi samajhna chahte, mai fir bhi unko kehta hu ki bhai sochiye samajhiye. Lekin agar nahi aayenge toh, jarur, show rukega nahi. (See I have said this before also that I want to keep everyone and everything together. But there are a few people who do not want to come back, they don’t have the hunger, and they don’t want to limit themselves to TMKOC. They don’t want to understand this. I want them to think again because without them the show will not stop).”

On the other hand, there are reports of Disha Vakani aka Dayaben getting replaced in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. As per the reports, Disha was said to get replaced by Kajal Pisal who will be gracing the show as the new Dayaben. The source revealed to the portal, “If Kajal gets finalised, she will have to start shooting tentatively from next month.”
