After the actors give their best onscreen, their hard work pays off either by getting extreme love from the fans or by bagging prestigious awards for the same. Speaking of the same, the Indian Television Academy or ITA Awards 2022 was held on Sunday, March 6 in Mumbai. Several stars like Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Rashami Desai, Rakhi Sawant, Harshad Chopda, Nakuul Mehta – Jankee, Surbhi Chandna, Helly Shah, Munmun Dutta, Hina Khan, Rupali Ganguly, and many more graced the show with their fashionable best.

Udaariyan wins Favorite Show whereas Anupamaa takes away the Best Show award. Harshad Chopda gets Best Actor Popular for his role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Nakuul Mehta is given Best Actor Critics for Bade Ache Lagte Hai 2. Whereas Rupali Ganguly shares her Best Actress Popular award with Ashi Singh.

Best Actor Critics (Bade Ache Lagte Hai 2): Nakuul Mehta

After getting an award for the same, Nakuul penned a long thank you note which read, “Last night was beautiful.. As tradition, stopped by for a Paneer Kathi roll in the wee hours of the morning to celebrate our ITA Best Actor win for Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 A stray dog came by and even peed right next to my backside. Gentle reminder by the universe that the world may still not give a shit about you, stay grounded! However I have to confess that post pandemic, the meaning of recognition by the industry & your peers has changed so much for me. Deeply indebted for yet another pat on the back! God knows I work so damn hard for this but it would be untruthful to take the spotlight for this. This entirely belongs to all those who give me the wings to pursue my art.
