Jagesh Mukati’s death: ‘Amita Ka Amit’ actress Chandni Bhagwanani opens up on his sudden demise

The last few weeks have been catastrophic for the entertainment industry, every second-day news of actors’ death or suicide has been grabbing the headline. Today we came across the news of television actor Jagesh Mukati‘s death. Reportedly he died due to breathing issues. Jagesh had featured in popular shows like ‘Amita Ka Amit’, ‘Shree Ganesh’. He even starred in Bollywood film ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’

The news of Jagesh’s sudden demise has left his industry friends and co-star devastated. Actress Chandni Bhagwanani who played Jagesh’s daughter in the show ‘Amita Ka Amit’ opened up on his death and how she regrets not replying to his last message.

Speaking to SpotboyE, Chandni said, “I got to know about Jagesh Ji’s demise and I am extremely shocked. He messaged me just last month, asking if I am doing fine here and in case I need anything, I should let him know. ‘I am just a call away’- he had said. On my birthday also, he had messaged. But I didn’t see it as a lot of messages had come that day and unka message kahin peeche chala gaya. Yesterday, when I was checking his messages I saw he had wished me and I really felt bad that meri last time unse baat ho sakti thi agar maine usi din message dekha hota but nahi ho paayi.”

Further recalling her experience of working with Jagesh, the actress shared, “He was a gem of a person and a brilliant human being. He used to make everybody laugh and was among the best co-actors I’ve had. I haven’t slept since the time I heard this news, I was really close to him.”.

Apart from films and television, Jagesh was also known for his work in Gujarati theatre.
