Jannat Zubair opens up about her no-kissing policy on screen

Jannat Zubair is one of the most popular stars in the industry. Jannat is known for portraying Kashi in Kashi – Ab Na Rahe Tera Kagaz Kora, Phulwa in Phulwa and Tu Aashiqui. She is currently a part of Khatron Ke Khiladi 12. She has also reached new heights as a social media creator. In a recent interview, Jannat opened up about her doing Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 and ‘no-kissing policy’.

For the uninitiated, in 2018, when Jannat was playing the lead in ‘Tu Aashiqui’, her parents had announced that she would follow a ‘no-kissing policy’, given her age. Talking about the same, Jannat said, “That has been the policy and will be so for life. If it wasn’t a well-thought plan, I don’t think it would have made to the headlines. This is also the reason why I am not focusing on OTT at all.”

Talking about doing Khatron Ke Khiladi, Jannat said, “People feel I am young and thus very delicate. But this show has helped me prove that I am stronger than I appear. Because of my physicality, I too had my share of apprehensions about whether I could pull off tough tasks compared to the men. However, I realised that your height, weight and gender, nothing matters above your willpower. And I am so glad that I have broken the perception around me.”

Furthermore, talking about her career transition from an actor to a social media influencer, Jannat said that she is proud of her journey. She added, “Everything is fine. It’s just as we had planned or actually better than that.”

Jannat’s stunning photos and videos always break the internet. Recently, Jannat shared a dance video of herself and captioned it as, “Jaa ijazat tenu.” Fans showered her with compliments. A fan dropped a comment saying, “Mashallah.” Another one commented, “So beautiful.”
